Woah, I wasn't aware Crowder was still putting on his LA show due to the hurricanes (if you mean Louisiana and not Los Angeles). I'm from Louisiana, actually.

As far as the themes, I used ObjectBar and WindowBlinds by Stardock, Konfabulator, RKLauncher, AveDesk, and Y'z Shadow.

ObjectBar gave me the cool finder bar at the top.
WindowBlinds gave me skin with the three buttons on the left, rather than the right.
Konfabulator gave me the desktop widgets, such as the calendar and weather.
AveDesk gave me the OS X looking icons.
RKLauncher gave me the zooming dock at the bottom
Y'z Shadow puts a shadow behind all the windows.

Have you been to Osx-e.com? There are a ton of Mac emulation tools there. But some don't really looks as authentic as others, so you kinda have to pick them apart.
